“Julampitiye Amare” the underworld figure surrendered

Police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said that the notorious figure had surrendered to the high court for offences committed before and not forbeing charged with the current shooting.
“ He surrendered on charges of offences he had committed previously, he had escaped from jail in 2002 and there were chargers murders committed in Middeniya, against him” he said.
The accused G.G. Amarasekara had surrendered to the high court through a lawyer, sources said
